Kicking Brass is a third-person, bullet hell, prison break, boss rush roguelike. Choose an instrument as your weapon, talk to the tuba on your head, and die trying to escape the Arena over and over again!
Wield different instruments!
In a world where weapons don't exist, instruments are your only defense. From Violins to Xylophones, each instrument grants you unique abilities and synergizes with other items in the game!
Customize your run!
With close to 70 different items in game, no two runs are the same. You have an arsenal of instruments and accessories at your disposal, to make you an unstoppable fighting force.
Make friends and escape!
A wacky cast of characters reside in the Arena and are itching to escape before, they too, meet their end at the hands of Brasshoven's lackeys. Befriend them, scheme and execute your grand escape together!

Install instructions
Option 1 - Google Drive
Download the build from the google drive link, extract it and run KickingBrass.exe
Option 2 - Dropbox
Join the playtest on steam. This option also gives you access to updates, rather than having to redownload the playtest every time we patch something in.
Option 3 - Steam Playtest
Press the Steam button towards the top of the page (under more info) or in the description, then request access to the playtest on Steam. You will be given immediate access and get any updates patched in, rather than needing to redownload the game.
